so first off big shout out to debbie for finding this beautiful fc bc i was Struggling to find a replacement since her og fc is already in the rp

brooke grew up in a small town on the east coast

her family was basically picture perfect

her parents were happily married and well known in their town since they had grown up there

her older brother was the golden boy and a three sport athlete with a 4.0 gpa and a full ride to any school he wanted

her older sister was in every club ( and president of most ) and also a cheerleader and star of the plays/musicals

and then brooke was just..................there

she always felt trapped in her town, held back by the standards set by her perfect parents and siblings

like you know how when u have older siblings and all the teachers are like ‘oh you’re so and so’s sibling!’ yeah that was her entire life

she wasn’t good at sports and she didn’t like participating in after school activities

the only thing that kept her sane was her best friend

he was a couple years older and was attending university nearby -- a university brooke found herself accepted to when it was her time to start planning for that

brooke wasn’t even sure if she wanted to go to college but it was just what was expected of her, especially with both of her siblings doing their ivy league thing

brooke’s primary goal had always been to get as far away from her small town as possible, though

so like.................why would she go to a nearby university ????

her best friend wasn’t enough to keep her nearby so when the time came to start college she dipped without saying goodbye and went to a school on the opposite side of the country lmao

once out of her small town she tried to find a new personality for herself

she became a sort of manic pixie dream girl, eager to please everyone and losing herself in the process

one fateful night while hooking up with her flavor of the month @ajcxhqs, the condom broke and brooke found herself pregnant

she was in no way ready to be a mom

she was eighteen !!! she had so much she wanted to do still and she could just see everything she ever wanted slipping away in front of her eyes

once her pregnancy was coming to an end, she made the choice to sign over her legal rights to her daughter and either leave her with her father or give her up for adoption

she couldn’t give her daughter the life she deserved and she knew what she was doing was for the best

once the beautiful little girl was born, seeing her tiny little face just solidified her decision

stella deserved the world and that was something brooke would never be able to give her

she dropped out of school and started traveling, sleeping in youth hostels and on random strangers’ couches

she found a love for photography along the way, and would occasionally send postcards to ajax and her childhood best friend just so they would know she was okay

after she was completely out of money, she returned to the states and sent her portfolio to a few studios, looking for work as a location scout

it was a great career move for her, since she never had to stay in one place for too long

when zenith came calling, she was reluctant to take their offer since she knew that was where ajax worked

but it was for a different show, and since it was a big lot and she wouldn’t even be there that much like...................what were the odds that she’d actually run into the father of her child ??? ( or her child, for that matter )

ahhh so that’s her backstory !!!! ( i have a lot of feelings for this character since she’s about as old as liam is adlskjf )
