She hummed a little, taking another decent sip before arching a brow at him. “Very well put together?” she repeated with a genuine laugh, shaking her head at him amused. “What am I? A car? You’re not very good with words, are you?” Belle teased, nodding shortly. “Just try to be more subtle next time.”

“Don’t sell yourself short,” he stated quietly, “I’m sure you could be anything you wanted. Body art or not.” David chuckled to himself, the last thing he wanted to do at the moment was sound like a dad, so instead of continuing the pep talk he finished his beer and waved the bartender over for another round. “More like a really gorgeous Harley-Davidson,” he pointed out with a grin, “WLA — a classic.” Her comment earned another laugh from his lips, “I’m not very good at being subtle either apparently.
