Revanced is no longer my recommendation for YouTube however. That belongs to GrayJay, which supports much more than just YouTube. Ad free, background playback, downloads, and more is available for supported services.

They also make nifty accessibility apps for voice input and auto captioning that runs locally on device. All features are free, but you should buy a license if you can.
