Mixed media on canvas, experimental and expressive piece, trying not to let perfectionism and the desire for my art to be “good enough” be in my way anymore. creative shame and wanting things to be “good enough” has done nothing but create so many artistic blocks, and I’m tired of being my own worst enemy and the mountain in my own way. This is sort of an expression of some of those feelings, as well as just playing to play. I’m relearning to actually effectively write about my own art so bear with me. I’m trying.
Layered shapes and textures with different mediums and colors over a period of time amalgamated into this piece and I (think) I’m happy with it, as I said working on not being my own worst critic etc etc etc
