That makes me go, wait a minute. When Rebecca is asking for a hot dog and she's making the excuse about her sick aunt bc she wants to go buy the scarf but she has and interview and its actually one of my favorite scenes. Mostly because Luke tells her probably he most important line in the whole movie "you want your scarf, I want my hot dog. Cost and worth are two different things" and its great and sums up the movie pretty well.

Yall already know that i love hannibal and murder husbands. But I recently got into TMA and wouldn't it make a cool Hannigram AU? Will would obviously be Jon. I can't decide it Hannibal would be martin or Elias tho. He would definitely be constantly checking in on Will to make sure he was ok and he would make tea for him. I feel like Margot would be Georgie. Alana would be Sasha, or Melanie. Beverly would be daisy. I think Tim would split into Brian and Jimmy. If hannibal is martin, then either Jack or mason would be Elias. Jack's not really evil so mason would be more likely.

I honestly just feel bad for Eddie at this point. Bro is just trying to make sure his family is ok. The lady(i can't remeber her name right now) probably should have told him that she stole the money. But then again, I can't really blame her but also like girl I get it that you're scared for your safety but you should have moved away sooner.

I don't even know how im supposed to feel about Cal. Obviously he's supposed to be th "bad guy" but antagonist is really the proper term because he's not evil, he's just been raised to act a specific way and he's misinterpreted so many situations. The only really good thing he's done was try to get the rich family's son back from Peru and take in all those families that were being hunted by ICE(which btw watching this now with the things that are going on in te world now is eye opening)and that still put the rest of the compund in danger. Now, I don't think he should have killed Silias. But if someone told me that the one thing I believed in my entire life, the one person that I looked up to, were fake and then called me a fraud, id be pretty pissed as well, and angry and hurt. This character acts on impulses that come out of nowhere. He doesn't mean to be violent but he can't stop the violent impulses that just happen in a split second. It was obvious that he hadn't meant to kill Silias, the horror and shock on his face were enough to show that(hugh still never ceases to amaze me with his acting skills). Now he's drinking again, and I think that was evident. When he started drinking again after his fight with his mother, I knew he was probably going to do something else that compelled him to drink again. Turns out it was ✨️murder✨️ also the whole episode that was building up to that, he kept offering people tea for no reason. I think tea was his way of drinking without drinking.

Hawk is such a compelling character and I love all the twists and turns in his story. He tried to just be a normal teenager but his mom keeps getting in the way. It doesn't sit right with me that they pull their kids out of school at the age of 16. I mean the whole cult thing is bad, but what if something happens and they do, unfortunately, need to disband. All of their children and the adults who grew up in the cult have no high-school diploma, and no college degrees. They all act like a family, until they don't and things get too messy and that's the problem with things like that. I feel bad for Hawk because his parents(like 99% his mom) are making him live a life that he doesn't even know if he wants yet. I remember there was an episode of law and order about a town that basically ran like a cult and as soon as one of their members left, they were just shunned. When Sarah goes to see where her sister lives, however, she is very obviously jealous of all the things that Tessa has that she's not allowed. Just because they left to go and live their lives, doesn't mean that they aren't successful. I don't think Sarah is afraid of losing Hawk, I think she's afraid that he'll live a fulfilling life and won't need her anymore.

Im so scared to keep going but I love this show SO SO MUCH. Guess I'll just have to keep watching 😂 I want SO BAD to route for Cal, mostly because my opinion is biased and I'll play devils advocate for any of Hugh's characters, but i know that he's not gonna make any good decisions or try to be a better person(in a way that'll actually help the people he tries to care a lot about) but who can tell? Im still on season one so maybe something good will happen? I don't know where Hawk and Eddie are walking, but I know something bad is going to happen. One of them is going to have a bad time, perhaps both. Ive learned to not expect anything.

The one thing that is actually a really good explanation of religion, is right after Cal gets the shit beat out of him. He explains to Eddie that what he did is what it means to be a leader. Getting the shit kicked out of him wasn't fun, but it was "necessary" as he puts it. And thats how most religion stories are told. A person want to spread their faith for the greater good, and then something bad happens to them, but they keep on doing because their god tells them to. Its a great scene that shows what Cal is willing to do to look strong and be a "good" leader even though he's kinda shit at being a leader. I just thought that was interesting.
