Since Lonnie's name is based on his patronymic (Li/Lonnie), I think it's only right that his brother's name is based on Mulan's.Now, since Cal, you are the wasian between the two, I leave the task to you who are more prepared. But it definitely must be a name which begins with either M (Mulan) or F (Fa).

If we're going to keep with the C theme, then Clayton's son should be named Cecil. "Cecil" is Clayton's middle name in the books. (William Cecil Clayton). In the Disney movie, however, he is only called William, so it becomes a nice reference.

So, as a mythology buff, I'd name Yzma's daughter after an Aztec goddess. But since I understand the implications of this being a Disney thing, I'd settle for Yara. Respect the letter rule (Y),and it's still the name of a river goddess

I think L’il Shang’s name will have to start with an F since Li is Shang’s family name and that’s where we get the L for Lonnie. Now, when choosing white names for western convenience, Chinese people often choose old timey white people names for reasons I can’t explain (think names like Sharon, Henry, etc). SO I would like to propose Franklin as Lonnie’s brother’s English name

But now I also want to propose Chinese names for both!!!

For Lonnie, her Chinese name would be Meihua, M for Mulan obvi. Hua is a reference to Mulan’s real surname (it was simplified to Fa in the cartoon), and it means flower, referencing Mulan’s father’s talk of blossoms blooming in their own time in the movie. Mei means plum, and symbolises strength and resilience as the flower that blooms in winter, which would reference Mulan’s first victory over the Huns in the snowy mountains where she bloomed into a true warrior. So all together, her name would be plum blossom

Here's a lil bonus bc this scene from the show is a core memory of mine

1) the yellow of the eyeliner in the doll makes the new iris of the new doll (even more) pinkish. Dolls tend to prefer light colors because they are easier to render details (in fact brown eyes are often slightly greenish or golden). The problem is that the yellow,instead of making the eyes looking a warm Brown,makes the eyes looks RED.

2) The pink tone is too white and bright. So Briar inevitably appears paler in complexion than her natural complexion, which is generally light.It's a bit like when Beyoncé or Zendaya go blonde. The "white" part comes out more predominantly.

3) The chosen highlighter makes republican make up. This accentuates the white look, especially given the use of that awful peach blush. Furthermore, the highlighter "opens up" Briar's face which appears less intense.

4) That terrible lipstick, which I also hate in real life (ugliest shade ever), doesn't balance out the eye makeup well.Good makeup tends to balance eyes and lips, and if one is the focus, you try to tone down the other. A good example of this rule is Apple, who has very desaturated eye makeup because the focus is on the lips which are bright red.

the idea just took root in my mind and i really think this would be such a beautiful life for naruto post-war. discovering the world, making it his home, and everyone welcoming him like family.

he would share stories, help people, spreading love, hope and peace. and even write about his travels ! the book would probably read like a wackjob wrote it but it would be so heartfelt :')

i've always loved the idea that a post-war naruto would feel such peace and happiness that he often (accidentally) goes into sage mode simply by breathing. like someone's talking to him and then maybe a moment of silence would pass and when they look back at him the markings of sage mode are on him. also, i imagine in this au he also lets kurama's chakra leak freely (kind of like he's letting him stretch) so he would sometimes have sharper features because of it too.
