you are intersexist bitch . touch grass
@unbound-angel Hey, cis Intersex fiance, am I intersexist?
Anywho, here's my take:
Intersex is a sex, can we all agree with that? Yes? There's more than 2 sexes.
Alrighty, male and female are sexes too (as well as genders), which individuals can transition to or identify as. So, my standpoint is - why is intersex the singular sex that one "cannot" identify as or transition to? Just because I wasn't born intersex? Sounds suspiciously close to transphobic ideology. Because intersex people have experienced great challenges, violence and discrimination? So have women, but transwomen still exist. I'm not claiming to face the same things as people born intersex, because I'm not cis intersex.
And I mean, sure, I could identify as Transneutral, Non-Binary, Androgynous, or Salmacian. And I do! But those are all labels, so is intersex. Those don't express my transition desires like transintersex does, those are just my labels irl to avoid people like you. I would much much rather be perceived as intersex than androgynous or gender neutral.
It's like how even though there are more popular terms for the same thing, some choose a smaller micro label because they simply think it fits better.
I 100% plan on physically transitioning by the way.
no, you aren't! if anything, you're one of the most respectful people that i know

β β β β β as someone born intersex, i wanted to talk about why i support the transintersex label. all my life, i've been treated as an abomination and outcasted for being intersex, and for others to find intersexuality as something to be desired rather than ashamed of? it's beautiful, it's inspiring, it's reinvigorating. people will say it's 'fetishization,' but they will say that about anyone appreciating intersexuality, and those people are only assuming the worst of others.
β β β β β now, outside of the emotional aspect, you can change your sex. sex is malleable; you can change your hormones which will not only affect your genitalia inside and out but also your build, you can get surgeries; you can change your sex (no, your sex is not just your chromosomes, in fact, chromosomes have very little to do with your sex). and saying people should have to make up their own whole new terms instead to describe this is unnecessary; if their desired body lies between or outside of sexes, even if by their own hand, then they should be able to identify as transintersex (although they should make room for and not talk over cisintersex beings). if they desire a specific intersex condition, more power to them.
β β β β β this post is not open to discourse. you either agree with me or you don't; if you don't agree with me, the block button is right there.
Transintersex being here, there is one misconception in this, or rather, a specific type of transID feeling left out of here!
I was born transintersex, I didn't decide I wanted to be intersex, I didn't decide it was beautiful, desirable, or anything of the sort, I simply... Always was it, I felt something about my body was unlike anyone I had met, or that is SHOULD of been, I knew what men's bodies looked like, and what women's bodies looked like, but I knew mine wasn't supposed to be exactly either one.
I considered myself an alien- not as an idea, I genuenly believed I was not human, because humans were categorized into two bodies.
Once I discovered what intersex was at a young age, I instantly knew I had to be it, and although I havent been able to confirm that I am cisintersex- and no signs other then my mind point towards it, I simply... Knew it was me, I was SUPPOSED to have sex characteristics, or choromozones, or SOMETHING that was off from female or male. For once, the theory that I wasn't human faded, because I discovered humans do not have to be one or the other, but can fall into a wide range that falls within being intersex.
But, clearly, with no confirmation or any physical indication other then my brain of me being intersex, and not knowing of transIDs other then trans, I fell back down into my theory of not being human, despite so deeply feeling like I should be- because if I'm not allowed to feel like I should of been intersex, then, what am I feeling?
Point is, I never saw any intersex traits as something desirable for the sake of desire, attraction, or alike, no, some traits just ARE what I'm SUPPOSED to be, thats why I desire them, because we are all diverse, and the way my body formed never ever aligned with what I supposedly have.
I may be transintersex, but I am still INTERSEX, I have always been, I'm not here because I decided one day I wanted this, or that it was desirable, but because it is me, THIS IS ME, I'M INTERSEX, I'VE ALWAYS BEEN INTERSEX! and it's SUPPOSED to be obvious to me, but it isn't, my body won't show it to me.
I truly desire to be able to get confirmation and hopefully find out I'm cisintersex, even if its invisible to the average person, I so deeply want to be cisintersex, I don't want this dysphoria, this disconnect from my body.
This post in no way btw invalidates those who have not lived their transintersex experience the same way I have, if you figured it out later, desire it in a different way, etc, you are just as valid!
End point... Being TransIntersex is often so, SO much deeper then "I want different body parts" or "I think its neat" as antis might think, this is what we ARE, our brain KNOWS what we are and no amount of conversion therapy can make who we truly are go away, all it can do is make us put up with a false sense of self, one that our brain can NEVER accept as us, because it isn't.
Even if I never change my body and I'm told I'm not cisintersex by a professional, ill always be intersex, just as I've always been.
