To add some nuance: it requires child welfare workers to consider gender identity when evaluating a childās safety in a home. So if refusing to accept gender identity crosses the line into abuse, then yes the government will remove the children from the home.
There is actually very little reporting of this law in the main stream media. Itās mostly right-wing ānewsā sites such as Infowars (Canadaās Breitbart equivalent) who are jumping on this as an overreach of government power.
