I think starting over might not be such a bad idea :( Rping shouldn't make you feel miserable and like you're shoved into a little corner. It's clear that you still want to write and you still might have muse for this character but not necessarily where she is now. If you start over you could make it better than before and know what to avoid. Hope everything turns out okay and that you redisocover what made you fall in love with it in the first place.: hugs:

The magic of Nail Polish
As many of you cosplayers know, the right color Spray Paint can get to be expensive. Floral paint, glass paint, metallic paint… The list goes on.
And I was laying in my bed, really wanting to paint the crystals for my Velvet cosplay, but feeling way too drained to go and buy the paint. So I figured I would rummage and see what I could come up with in my house.
Lo and behold, I had blood red nail polish, a brand new bottle, that I’d picked up from the dollar store a few weeks ago. (YOU HEARD ME, JUST $1!) And I figured…why the hell not. If I don’t like it, I’ll repaint it.
Well. It just finished drying, and I just set the glue to hold the gems in to place, and let me just say…
I fucking LOVE the way it turned out! It gives me the semi see through look, a little bit of shine, a smooth coat, and it dried really REALLY fast!
Coating both of them (twice) took almost the whole bottle of nail polish, but I definitely think it was worth it.
Painting your weapons for a buck! Now THAT’S cosplay.
