when our shift ended we went back TWICE to help our 60 yo alcoholic coworker wash cutlery and he was telling us that nobody in this job has lasted longer than two months mentally he also asked if we do drugs because he thinks everyone should try everything in life at least once he said the only things he hasn't done are have sex with a man and try heroin

then we finally got back to the apartment and suddenly the boss appears at the door and goes hi matilda i need you for a while to help clean at the bar

so i went. i was just washing dishes when suddenly a coach full of like 30 retirees arrived and every single one of them wanted drinks and beer. i'm not even a bartender but that was apparently my accelerated crash course in pouring beer and making drinks

i texted my friend to come help me and together we somehow survived this enormous crowd of complaining retirees they were all so fucking difficult to deal with constantly changing their minds and everything and they wanted us to make them fries even though the kitchen was already closed and for some reason the boss agreed to it so i had to go wake up the cook
