sometimes I hate the line I walk

But having them back, it's like...like breathing after holding your breath for a long time. 

Somebody nabbed Charles' setlist off the stage before the encore on Friday night, and he said "Some motherfucker has stolen my setlist." and I nearly peed myself laughing - then directly after that, someone chucked a drink at Harry. (seriously, what the actual hell? This is a 550 person venue in New York, not a Scottish festival. :P) - at which point Harry said "Well, I'm a little wet now, but at least I still have my setlist." 

I finally got to tell Tommy thank you for that list of stuff he wrote for us to do in Brighton. Jack finally signed the drumstick from Wembley, and we (him and me and Kat) talked for a bit about festivals and things. He and Tommy both said that there's a good possibility they'll be back in February, so thank goodness I won't have to wait another two years to see them again. And I mentioned Firefly to Jack and he asked what kind of festival it was, so I mentioned some of the headliners from the past two years and he seemed genuinely interested and said he'd look into it. And Rob was perfect, as always, and didn't bleed on us at all. (He came by Friday afternoon and was like "look what I've just done" and a piece of wire on one of the bridges had gouged his arm open, so he wandered off to the pharmacy and came back and told us that he wasn't really sure that "pharmacist" means the same thing in the states as it does in the UK :P I swear, he is such a precious man.)

And I got setlists both nights and Tommy signed them. :P (I am convinced that Tommy will be famous someday, okay). 

It was, overall, a phenomenal couple of days. Kat and I met at the NYC show back in May of 2011 and it was really cool to be able to do that again with her - we've both seen them multiple times separately since then, but it was neat to get to see them again since that was how we got to be friends in the first place. And I got to share White Lies with Eric, which was SO important to me. :)
