i was up front at the interview that i wanted to move toward the direction of specializing in advanced color. i said i would love to assist a master colorist with long-houred color services; i want to work at a higher end salon that gets clients who want higher end services; where i see myself in 1 year: getting more color services because right now i’m booked with mainly blowouts and haircuts; where i see myself in 3 years: getting color services where i use more advanced techniques like french blending, platinum cards, or air touch; i’ve already got my own bookings at my job right now but i want to go back to a supportive role for more extensive training than the basics that i’ve already gone through.
