To me, this is the best frame of the series

Showcases exactly their situation in the séries in a symbolic way

They are just normal People, trying to fight a giant monster by themselves

And I'm SO glad they didn't steal that moment from Kenji by giving it to Darius.

The way Yaz is able to kindly and gently help others open up and make good choices is such a great parenting skill. She would def be the mom Yasammy's kids go to when they wanna talk about mental health and relationships. Or, y'know, playground drama when their in elementary school.

Sammy's the mom whose "mama" if that makes sense? Like she's where the kids go if their sad and need mama's cuddles. Sammy would 100% be a mama bear. Nobody goes near her babies. Sammy writes the kids messages in their lunchboxes and sends the kids off to school with homemade cupcakes when it's their birthday.

I NEED A WHOLE SHOW THAT'S JUST SAMMY AND YAZ BEING MARRIED AND HAVING BABIES. LIKE THE LITTLE THINGS.

Like imagine having a whole episode that's just Yaz and Sammy finding out IVF worked and telling all their friends that Sammy's pregnant.

Yaz and Sammy cuddled up in bed with a newborn bc they don't wanna put her in the crib because she's just too precious? (I headcannon that they have 2 daughters)

So, we all know she’s no longer the Brooklyn with long pink hair, the social media star—that phase of her life has passed. She no longer feels connected to that persona, and I believe that’s why she changed her hairstyle.

Then, she had short pink-blue hair and became obsessed with Dark Jurassic, wanting to uncover the darker realities behind it all.

Now, as she faces the mission to expose the dinosaur smuggling ring, she has a blue buzzcut.

That’s why I believe her hair choices have always mirrored the different stages of her life.

And when everything comes to an end, with all she’s been through with the smuggling ring and her “death”, I feel like she will outgrow this stage of her life too.

Brooklyn has always been chasing something—first, it was pleasing her audience, then it was her obsession with Dark Jurassic, and finally, stopping the dino smugglers. She’s always been on the move, never taking a moment to just do nothing. The fact that she’s such a young adult with so much responsibility is impressive in itself.

This is one of the reasons why I believe her natural brown hair could symbolize Brooklyn embracing her true self, moving forward from those experiences, and just “being”.

Letting go of the dyed hair could symbolize shedding the weight of her past. Her brown hair might represent her stepping into her own identity, free from chasing the thrill of missions or whatever. (Knowing that she also lost an arm while going after it)

Personally, I’ve always felt that dyed hair can sometimes act as a mask, hiding who we really are. So maybe Brooklyn embracing her natural hair would be her way of letting go of the need to chase something.
