Today was one hell of a ride! This was my first #crossfitcompetition and I'm thrilled that I got to experience it with my amazing partner, Nick! Can't really complain about 3rd place! I don't normally discuss things of this matter, because I generally pay people no mind, but I'm tired of everyone feeling the need to voice their opinions of how they believe I should look. I was too fat. Now, I'm too muscled, it's manly, blah, blah, blah! EVERYONE! You are more than entitled to your opinions, I will never deny you that right.. But that doesn't mean I care to hear them, nor will I heed them. People, you need to understand that I'm not trying to LOOK a certain way, I'm trying to PERFORM a certain way! There is a big difference. My size and shape is simply a byproduct. Do I enjoy the results? Fuck yes, I do! But my body shows hours of hard work. You can't expect to get where you want to be by cheating reps or eating everything in sight. My body shows discipline and determination and I've paid for it through blood, sweat and tears. So, fuck off.
