Daphne Blake

“A bit.” He parroted lightly with a nod. “I almost feel guilty for giving them more work to do, but hunger got the best of me.” 

“Hey, it’s what they’re getting paid for,” Daphne shrugged. Sure, it was busy - but as long as he wasn’t rude, she doubted it would cause too much of an issue. “Besides, you’ve gotta eat.”

“you and fred were pre-destined since we were kids. not that there is actually something like that but you two have always been on and off,” velma dealt with thing scientifically and definitely had not been one to ever believe in fate. “a hot date with myself and self care,”

veronica grinned when the other joined her, “see!  it’s so comfy.  honestly, all we need is a little blanket and we’d be set.”  veronica shrugged her shoulders, laying back on her back and looking up at the trees.  

“thank you.”  galleria grinned.  music was always her passion, and she was sure that daphne was probably sick of it when she was humming along at work and getting lost in the music for a period of time every so often.  “i’ve been so busy with teaching music lately, today was the first day i’ve picked up my notebook to write some music myself.”

wanda thought about it for a moment.  she wasn’t sure she’d ever thought about her style before this very moment.  “laid back?  comfortable?”  she thought about what she wore every day and those were the words that came to her mind.  she wasn’t flashy or too fashionable either.  

“Me too, it’s why I’m hoping the same happens here. Since it seems like people can’t get out anytime soon.”

a blush easily and quickly graced her cheeks as she heard daphne but quickly waved it off as the other being friendly, “that didn’t stop you back in crystal cove,” her words slightly teasing before shaking her head gently, “i was getting some takeaway before going home to have a bubble bath and a bottle of wine,”

wanda shrugged her shoulders as she looked around the shop.  “perhaps.”  she answered with a slight hum, looking back to the other woman.  “i’ve been told i need to, uh, i believe the word is upgrade my wardrobe?  i do not own many dresses.  so i’ve been looking for some, but i don’t know where to start, truthfully.”
