basically the best thing a story can have is a woman who is doomed. massive points if she destroys the people around her in response.

people really acting shocked when a deeply traumatized character who went through every possible psychological horror alone since childhood and developed a defense mechanism aka his whole tyrant persona finds himself in an extremely triggering situation where the one person he actually cares about and prioritizes over his own safety is in danger and his trauma response (which affects every aspect of his life no matter how hard he tried to hide that side from wanyin) ends up affecting that very person too. like yeah "he's soft only with her while being a demon tyrant to everyone else" was cute and all but realistically it was bound to happen that at some peak extreme moment his trauma would make him snap and it would affect her too
