Ringing., Loud. Too loud. Dante’s phone alarm rang unapologetically. He groaned letting out his inner Scrooge as he turned over to turn off his alarm. 6:00pm. As his eyes adjusted and he read the time he sprang up abruptly. ‘Shit, shit, shit.’ He murmured to himself finding the nearest clean pair of jeans (black of course) and shirt, throwing them on and slipping on his boots. Dante snatched his jacket off the back of the couch before slipping his phone, wallet and keys into his pockets before dashing out of the door. ‘Fuck’ He mumbled pulling out what seemed to be his last cigarette and tucking it behind his ear for safekeeping. Due to his slight jog he reached his destination within five minutes.. The bell chimed as he entered the tattoo shop and a set of unfriendly blue eyes was immediately boring into him. “I know ’m not early but ‘m not that late.” He emphasized and looked at the clock hanging on the wall “Give or take a few minutes.” He began to strut past Jake giving him a pat on the shoulder before going to his station. “Besides-” Dante started as he setting up for customers. “Who here is better than me?” He let out with a smug smile and waited for Jake to answer. However Jake did not answer, instead he just rolled his eyes and walked away. “S’what I thought.” Dante murmured to himself arrogantly as he heard the bell shop ring, indicating that someone had just entered.
