Got told off on a sound tech job today for using too much reverb cuz it’s “too eighties”. WHAT DO YOU MEAN when did reverb get out of fashion??? I mean sure, I love eighties music but like??? Is it modern to just have dry ass vocals? You’ll not catch me with that, every single track on my songs is gonna be DRENCHED in the lushest reverbs known to man. Vocals? YES. Snare? WETTER THAN MY PUSSY. I’ll drench everything in reverb until you barely can hear the original tracks. Reverb is the answer to everything.

…..not even six hours later i got an offer of a well paying full time long-term job with free room and board in queens in nyc, allowing me independence and a way to escape an abusive situation and an unhealthy environment
