Of St. Mystere

     ⊰ ★ ⊱ Traversing the few sectors nearby her own, she’s taken to wandering in search of odd jobs and fun alike; there isn’t all that much to do in the city for now besides make a buck or two in order to get by, but that in itself is an adventure! Or so she thinks.

     While window-shopping with the whole two dollars in her pocket, she walks by a young girl speaking in riddles, talking to a few people who seem to lose interest shortly after beginning to listen; they don’t care much, but Minako’s interested in a challenge, turning back around to speak with her, even if they’ll only talk for a few minutes.

     “Hey, if you’re feeling up to it, I’ll take one too! What’s the prize if I get it, though?”

So imagine the light that returns to her eyes when this sweet young lady approaches to request one! Not just ask what she was doing, or how her hair stays perfectly coiled all the time like most people do, but genuinely, bona-fide ask for a puzzle!

Flora nearly cries.

But there’s no time for tears. “For this one? You’ll be rewarded about 20 picarats -- if you get it right on the first ty!” She softly giggles. “Okay, ready?”

“What do you mean ‘You can’t really get out’? There has to be a way, there isn’t a place that you can never… leave…”

[But since the girl seemed to have not noticed him, he felt maybe if he poked her she would react and so he did.]

Oiiiiiii!

So it wouldn’t be strange for one to find her quite lost in her thoughts, eyes languidly locked on the flowerbeds before her, completely oblivious to the outside world until...

“ - Ack! “

Someone’s poked her...

“Oh. Well, about that...”  Best rip the band-aid off quick.

“…Huh?”

Wait…

...

Flora has no idea what this girl is. Other than obviously discombobulated.

“Hahahaha! I guess I do! It’s alright though, I know an even better way to get rid of those things! I can’t really stand upside down anyways because of my horns”

“One time…One time I tried doing it…hic…and my horns got stuck in the ground! AHAHAHAHAA! I was stuck for hours! All the blood rushed to my head and made me real dizzy! My legs felt like jelly too!”

Big Bull hiccupped again and his tail waggled about behind him, this girl was pretty nice! He appreciated that! Nice people sure were the best! And she sure was nice to help like she was.

She slows to a halt in her cleaning, looking towards the creature when he asks for her name.

“Hee hee...” ‘Pretty alright’! How about that. 

“My name is Flora. Flora Reinhold.” She gives a small curtsey.

“Oh! Hahahaha…hic…sorry! I was gonna pick it all up! Don’t you worry!”

Keeping his word, Big Bull staggered around on the street to pick up all the broken pieces of the barrel, he certainly didn’t want to accidentally sit on a piece and get a nasty splinter in his tail.

“Thank you!”

So pleased, in fact, Flora endeavors to help the creature by wandering around herself and picking up a few pieces. With utmost care, of course, as we don’t want a splinter. 

Al spots her searching close to the ground thoroughly for something,and apparently poking other people’s shoes. Oh dear, that couldn’t be sanitary. He sighs, before cautiously approaching his smaller sibling. A poke is aimed at his shoe and he clears his throat, hoping to grab her attention.

“Ah -!”

Her search is cut short, concentration chased off by a familiar voice calling her name. She pushes herself up immediately, jaw slightly agape as she brushes off her dress. Soon everything clicks, however, and her face brightens with a warm smile. “Oh, Al! It’s you!” Considerably relieved to already have found someone she knows, Flora doesn’t think twice as she steps forward and wraps the man in a hug. 

Big Bull had no idea what he expected alcohol to taste like, he had never touched the stuff before, but Mayasatia had given him a whole barrel of it to drink and he would seem kinda rude to not do as he requested: drink it in public.

It seemed everyone else had the same idea, humans alike had their own alcoholic drinks in hand and were gulping them down. So, the bull man decided to follow suit.

Hmmm…the alcohol certainly had an odd taste: sweet? It must have been made from fruit, it almost tasted like apples, a hard apple ale. Big Bull’s tail wagged a little and he chugged the rest of the large barrel down as if it was no problem; tossing the now empty receptacle into the air and utterly DESTROYING it with a hard punch.

“YEEEEAH! HOO YEEEAH! THAT’S SOME GOOD STUFF!”

Something pungent, that’s for sure, she can smell it all the way here. But she’s too mesmerized, staring until the very barrel her eyes glued to was tossed into the air and promptly decimated.

That sure snapped her out of a trance, jumping a little as splinters rained every which way.

Oh -- now that wouldn’t do! There was wood everywhere. The itch to impose manners on everyone around her is enough to override her shyness, and soon Flora’s marching right up to that bull to tell him what’s-for.

“Excuse me...” She pauses, resisting temptation to crinkle her nose at the strengthened smell of alcohol.

The pat entices a smile, one she picks up her head to reveal to Al. It was nice to have someone worrying like this.

"That's good, I'm glad you're okay..."
