Happy: Don’t worry Lucy, I’ll help you! 

“Natsu…” He said, words slow. 

What? Why are you looking at me like that?

“Natsu-san!” Elated, the girl called out her friend’s name once he was within what most humans would consider an earshot. He was on time, which she somehow found surprising. Not to say Natsu wasn’t reliable, he was likely the most reliable person in the world to her. But like all people, he wasn’t perfect. She didn’t really perceive him as someone adept at meeting deadlines.

“I only just got here myself!” A lie, but she didn’t want him feeling bad. In comparison to her two Fairy Tail, Dragon Slayer peers, she was likely the most responsible despite being the youngest. “So what did you want to do today? It’s almost lunch time, so we could get food, or…?”

[Seeing Wendy’s smile was enough to make Natsu feel at ease to know that she was doing alright even when they had been living in separate places and thanks to the odd jobs in this city’s branch, they had barely been able to meet much lately so this put any worries he had at ease.]

Oh, is that so? Then I’m glad I made it in time.

[For Natsu, it was a rare occurrence to reach a meeting place at the appointed time but when it came to some people, he made sure to put some extra effort, specially since he rarely ever got out with Wendy of all people.]

Yeah, let’s go eat something first and then we can decide where to go from there! I know there’s a pretty popular place around here that I haven’t tried out yet.

A hand raised up after he saw his old friend. Quickly running down the street to greet the Salamander.

[Also having memories of the year away and the memories from this place was a bit weird, but he could understand why she was so shaken and simply awaited for her to calm down.]

It had barely been a day since she arrived in Hive City, but already Lucy was putting her feet to the pavement in her quest to find people she knew.  She’d done it before, leading up to everyone coming together again one year after they split, and she felt like she could do it again.  They were her friends, she was their friend, and she wasn’t going to give up.  Someone in Hive City had to have answers, or at least maybe she’d come across something that could give her hope.

Still, as she continued to explore and venture through the City and it’s Districts she was beginning to think she was getting overzealous right out of the gate.  What good would all of this do if she burned herself out at the very beginning?  She should pace herself, take her time, but Lucy was feeling the sting.  Everyone had just gotten back together, she was finally back with all her friends.

Trying not to cry and failing rather miserably at it, Lucy stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and raised a hand to the side of her face.  “Gray, Erza…Natsu.  Where are you?  I don’t want to be alone again.”

I am right here. You are not alone.

Wendy was excited. Seeing her get ready, one might have thought she was getting ready for some sort of date. This wasn’t the case, however. Close as she was with Ayato, he wasn’t the sort of person that she could meet and go out with in broad daylight. Though the person she was meeting was just as important to her. While not related by blood, she truly loved Natsu like a brother so of course she’d be just as excited.

Prettied up in a frilly white dress, she waited at a light post near the meeting spot. Carla was taking care of the animal shelter in her stead so she couldn’t attend, despite Wendy assuming Happy would be coming.

By the time he made it to the meeting spot, he realized Wendy was already there because he could feel her scent as soon as he reached the area. It didn’t take long to spot her among the crowd and waved at her as soon as she came into his visual field.]

Yo, Wendy!

[As Natsu shortened the distance between them, it also became clear soon enough that Natsu was coming alone as well since Happy was nowhere in sight.]

You were here earlier than me, I hope you didn’t wait for long?

“ Though taking out troublesome antics is surely a nice break from such work that isn’t exciting, “ that would be one thing she would certainly agree with. The lioness had heard of plenty of criminal activity going on in this city, especially in certain sectors or one in particular. Though she hadn’t seen such activity with her own eyes yet, even though she lived in that sector, she never really saw anything horrific. Sure things have seemed suspicious, but nothing that she could call anyone out on.

I don’t really care as long as we get paid enough to buy our food and a few other things but a little exercise every now and then is really needed!

Happy: Aye! Natsu won’t calm down unless he gets to beat down some bad guys once in a while!

[Happy always had fun no matter what since he was either looking at Natsu do ridiculous odd jobs or if there were fights to be joined, he’d even fight as well against small fries as he could at the very least defeat those.
