Details from the early-morning hearing in the ADOR vs. Danielle case were leaked, and the judge placed several restrictions on the plaintiff's team (ADOR/HYBE)

The judge scolded ADOR over the media spectacle and told them the evidence they presented felt intended to the journalists.

He only allowed them to explain the evidence to the court, but not "put up a show" for the media.

This happened because ADOR brought a PowerPoint presentation with Telegram screenshots pasted into a Word document.

ADOR contradicted itself over "Emotional Oranges"

ADOR argues that it invested money in the "Emotional Oranges" project to prove that Danielle had exclusive artistic activity with them.

Ador refused to admit the filming was interrupted, and the judge answered:

"Stop insisting on something that doesn't match the facts and review your bank records instead."

In essence, he told them that their financial records do not support their claims.

Danielle's defense agreed to an internal review.

When the judge requested verification of the financial records, Danielle's side said they had no objection and would address the matter.

They stated that they have banking documentation to counter ADOR's claims.

It was a bad day for ADOR in court. The judge prohibited no media theatrics and no PowerPoint presentations with chat screenshots.

He also questioned their key argument regarding Emotional Oranges, because they were unable to show that the filming continued.

In December of last year, ADOR notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract and later filed a lawsuit seeking approximately 43 billion Korean won in damages.

ADOR argues that both Danielle’s team and former CEO Min Hee-jin bear significant responsibility for the departure of the NewJeans members and for the delay in their return to the agency.

On November 28 of last year, Danielle and the other NewJeans members held a press conference announcing the termination of their exclusive contracts with ADOR. In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit on December 5 seeking confirmation of the validity of those contracts, and the court ultimately ruled in ADOR’s favor.

Before the deadline to appeal that decision expired, ADOR announced that Haerin and Hyein had expressed their intention to return to the agency. It also stated that Minji, Hanni, and Danielle communicated their intention to return to ADOR through their representatives rather than directly.

However, on December 29 of last year, ADOR announced in an official statement that it had notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract.
