I have a theory! What if Taylor was associated with the Bleacher Creatures when she was younger?
First, when they try to get Ira to egg Frank's car with them, Taylor shoots him the MEANEST look, showing that she KNOWS he shouldn't be hanging out with them.
When confronting Ira about hanging out with them, Taylor's stops herself to whisper about them instead when their mom walked in. She doesn't seem to want their parents to know about them (to keep herself outta trouble).
Not only is she the first person to refer to them as the "Bleacher Creatures", but she knows them all by name despite being at most four years younger them.
Taylor calls them "Sheeple." Which is a word Brian used to refer to those he sees as bullies. And given how she used air quotes when saying it, she now knew he was full of BS back then.
Taylor tells her and Ira's mom that the Bleacher Creatures told Frank that they weren't going to college. How would she know this?
From what we know, the Bleacher Creatures have held a grudge against Frank since they were eighth graders after he made Rinna cry. Was Taylor she there when they said this? Did they tell her?
Later, we see Taylor confide in Yuwen about Ira hanging out with the Bleacher Creatures and how she's worried about him.
If Taylor does have history with the Bleacher Creatures, could Yuwen know about it?
In "Steal" we see Brian drawing on Rinna's arm with a marker, and in "Mixed Signals" we see Taylor drawing on both hers and Yuwen's arms with the same brand of marker.
Could they have shown Taylor which marker didn't harm the skin? It’s interesting how this one cutesy act is shown twice.
At the high school party, Rinna asks Ira if Taylor is still dating Yuwen. I can see Ira telling them this to rant about Yuwen sure, but WHY would Rinna care enough to ask this? The fact that any form of update on Taylor is asked for is quite interesting to me.
And finally, we get to Taylor's final scene I'm "Steal". When Ira says he did something something bad, Taylor immediately knows it's because of the Bleacher Creatures' influence.
When she walks away from him Taylor tells Ira to "Grow up". Maybe that's something she had to do to prevent herself from being impressed and influenced by those like the Bleacher Creatures again?
