I'm going to rant a wee bit sorry

I feel like, even though I was very shocked and outraged in a light way myself, that people pushed it a bit too far in the upd8 with Davepetasprite^2 when some were saying that the development of another squared sprite was unnecessary to the plot. For one, it takes a while for a brand new character to have meaning, he/she was literally there for a single panel and people were posting about how the development was slack and uncalled for in the story line. Now that the next upd8 is wild and free, people see Davepeta's worth and are making more posts about how they see now that the development may benefit with the nepeta vs lord English theories and the Strider roles in fighting him as well with the welsh sword and such. I just think sometimes fans of homestuck are a little too quick to act on the story, for me, homestuck is the most flawless writing piece I have ever come across so I trust its developments whatever they may be. Even if this was just a slip up I think the shock factor of the product and general monstrosity of our beautiful pure children being blended so horrifically gives the comic even more humour and loosens it up a little in a sense, and not everything can have a meaning so soon, that would make some pretty awful reading material.
