I think that season five will have a twist. Now this twist I have is not like what most hero shows/movies have kind of. I think what will happen is Ryan will die either by Homelander or Butcher by mistake. Kind of like getting caught in the crossfire situation. I think Butcher will pull another season 1 ending. Take himself out and the rest of the world. So he will inject himself with the virus and make it air borne for every Supe to die. It shows Starlight dying in Hughie's arms. Kimiko saying her last goodbyes to Frenchie. Firecracker would be begging to not die. Deep will be regretting his last moments. New Noir will likely curse the day he took the role. Sage will likely be relieved of being so smart.

Finally Homelander, he won't be affected for some reason (likely because he was born rather than shot up). He will watch every Supe die and be the last one on earth. Leaving all the normal people questioning why he only survived, but also make it more like he is a god. He will have to live in a world where he only saves people and gets what he wants while having no one left except the people he hates.
