Okay I'm thinking about how funny the Dusthide lore could be in them getting rediscovered.

They're small. They're very small. And they dig.

Absolutely distraught farmer Imperial trying to figure out where these tunnels keep coming from and getting more and more enraged until they just start digging and scoop up like 30 Dusthide children who just had the zoomies.

Dusthides who think they're well known about but the modern breeds don't have a clue. "We've been friends for years!" "I've literally never seen you in my life" "You spoke to me last week!" "Wait, I was on pain meds for my broken foreleg, that was real?"
