quick notes on the pkmn oc that I'm workshopping, so far...
roxanne cordelia calhoun, hailing from flocessy town in unova. call her 'roxy' or 'c.c.'
currently a flocessy ranch farmhand (based on the rancher/cowgirl trainer class) and professional tauros/bouffalant rider, and has the bumps to show it -> currently learning how to raise and ride mudbray, ponyta and other 'milder' species, sometimes making trips to other regions to do so.
not very book or tech-smart, but she's absolutely jacked, so there's that. speaks with loud confidence and makes loud mistakes. definitely not a city girl and does not deal with water well.
kitt from (pokemon champions) is her older sister--get it? rox and kitt? we tried to get there. roxy, who failed out of school to help on the ranch, jokes that kitt got all the brains in the family. roxy looks up to kitt and her raising talents a lot. aside from kitt, roxy is also a member of the alder fanclub (this is a requirement if you are from flocessy town)
roxy has ridden in nimbasa's big stadium before! it remains one of the best moments of her life. after the rodeo, kitt sent her tickets to a fashion show in the city (courtesy of her boss, caraway.) originally attending as a joke and not expecting anything, roxy saw elesa strut her stuff down the runway and realized that she...might not be straight.
says 'what in tarnation' unironically. hey...it's a livin'. 🤠

Juri's giggle is heard before she materializes into view above Arceus, hanging languidly from the ceiling. She drops gracefully onto a high temple-stone like a spider, weevils and other insects scattering from beneath her feet as the fighter cocks her head downward, the Feng Shui Engine embedded in her eye whirring and refocusing on the fresh target. Juri's good eye widens with excitement as the engine reads (tries to read) Arceus's otherworldly energy.
"Mm, here's a powerful one. You look like fun," she purrs, licking her lips. She stretches with a yawn, as if preparing to pounce downwards, the air thick with tension. "Ughhh. I thiiiink...yeah, I've definitely been searching for someone like you, especially after crushing all those weaklings to get here. Are you gonna be boring like the rest of them, or do you wanna play...?"
She pops a neon bubblegum bubble, snapping a quick picture of Arceus on her gaudy cell phone. Hey, why not? A memento for later, in case she ends up killing this one, too.

hey! dan here, just checking in with a few housekeeping updates. now that winter's settled in, I've been writing way more (good), but am also having a supremely hard time keeping track of everything (not so good.)
I'm out and about today, but by the time you read this, I will have unearthed and refreshed my ancient thread tracker. it is merely there so I can keep things organized in one place.
some important notes on the tracker.
I only included threads that I recalled in my present mind, and threads that have been plotted/established. that being said, my present mind is quite foggy right now! if I'm missing you and you want me to continue from an interaction or ask, or pick something back up, just let me know. (likewise, if you're not feeling our current thread, just shoot me a message and we can drop! no worries. it's a busy time of year!)
the thread tracker is not meant to be a source of stress for anyone! it is merely for my own brain, and will not be posted on any of my blogs moving forward. as is well established, if we are threading, I will wait 3849+ years for your response. there's never any rush! (however, if being on the tracker gives you stress, just let me know and I will take you off. again, no worries. 💜)
right now, the tracker only features lucy, clair, cynthia, and eris/jupiter. I have other muses too (peep the hub!)--these are just my most active muses right now. I will continue updating things for myself as new/old muses bubble back up.
secondly! I have a 'relationship types' meme out and about over on lucy, though I am accepting on all muses. I'm answering them privately, so it's a good time to break the ice and say hey. I want to hear your ideas!
