Let's welcome the new week!
My last post was terribly depressing, and I honestly donāt want that to be the vibe of this small blog/wanna be glow up hub. I think I was just frustrated and tired of being sad and in pain.
Last night, I felt better though, and thereās a specific thing that helped me. Something that always helps me.
I decided to start treating myself as the main character - like Iām in some show I like (current hyperfixation is Gilmore Girls btw). To be honest, not only treat myself like that, but also act, think, and speak like Iām the main character. Because, after all, I am the main character of my life, and I feel like thereās something so fun about embodying such a mindset.
Iād like to stick with it. It helps me get out of the misery FASTER.
Anyway, today marks the start of a new week. Iām feeling better - both physically and mentally. Iām finally able to move more comfortably, and gosh, that makes me so happy. My weekly goals? Eh, not so many. Iām still a little unsure of how things will progress with my sprain, and Iāve been a little tentative to make many plans.
I certainly want to do these things, though:
Reach 5k words. Btw, Iām really close to achieving my 100k words yearly goal FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!
Drink more water. Iāve been neglecting my hydration since I just injured. Today, Iām doing really well with it.
Keep up with my small positivity practice by writing down 5 positive things that happened each day.
Continue organizing the office/reading room - there have been so many books to declutter and organize, but omg, I DO MAKE PROGRESS.
A gentle reminder for the week ahead
Itās a new week, and that means thereās always the opportunity to make things right and fix whatever didnāt work last week.
Itās time to set new goals and work on them. To let go of thoughts that donāt really serve us.
Take the time to be gentle to yourself and rest if you need to. Self-care is important.
Allow yourself to feel without judgement. Thatāll bring you closer to accepting who you really are.
Five affirmations to set the right tone for this week
Iām letting go of anxious thoughts and feelings about things I canāt control.
I embrace the new week with a positive mindset and confidence.
This week is filled with abundance and amazing opportunities.
I am worthy of good things in life.
I am ready to face the challenges that come my way this week.
What about you? What are your hopes and plans for this week? What are the good habits youāre sticking with?
