RASTROS es un trabajo que tiene como fin difundir las historias, los sentimientos, el sentir de mujeres que alguna vez en su vida parieron. El cuerpo  siempre es señalado y cuestionado pero en éste trabajo ponemos en jaque al mandato. Mujeres contando sus experiencias, lo que fueron y lo que quedó. Esos rastros visibles, esos rastros que no se ven.
âEl primer parto fue triste porque mi esposo me acompañó en el Hospital que a penas estaba inaugurado, y me dejaron ahĂ media a oscuras con mis dolores hasta que habrĂĄn sido las nueve de la noche y Ă©l no se podĂa quedar⊠a las dos de la mañana naciĂł. No se acostumbraba que el hombre Ă©ste durante el parto. Imaginate hace 60 años nada que ver. Fue una experiencia dolorosa compartiendo una partera con tres mujeres mĂĄs y me desgarrĂ© o me cortĂł cuando naciĂł mi hijo. DespuĂ©s cuando me fueron a coser se gritaban entre las enfermeras porque la aguja no le cosĂa bien...
Cuando tuve a mi segunda hija en un Sanatorio porque tenĂa Obra Social, me dijeron âayy señora, ÂżquĂ© le hicieron acĂĄ?â.
El segundo parto fue lindo, a la mañana, tuve mis dolores como todas pero despuĂ©s una alegrĂa porque salĂ de la internaciĂłn con mi nena en brazos.
No recuerdo si me durĂł mucho la hinchazĂłn del vientre despuĂ©s de parir porque estaba ocupada ya con la crianza del bebĂ©. No habĂa tiempo para esas cosas, habĂa que cuidar el bebĂ© y habĂa que hacer las cosas⊠las compras, la casa, lavar la ropa, lavar los pañales. Lo mismo cuando naciĂł mi segunda hija que no habĂa pañales descartables asĂ que yo⊠eran las 5 de la tarde y estaba lavando los pañales y la ropa. TodavĂa no habĂa lavarropas o, por lo menos, yo no lo conocĂa.â

RASTROS is a work that aims to spread the stories and the feelings of women who, at least once, gave birth in their lives. The body is always pointed and questioned but in this work we put the mandate in check. Women telling their experiences, what they were and what was left. Those visible traces and those traces that are not seen.
âThe first delivery was sad. I had my son in a Hospital that was barely functional. They (The doctors) left me there, in the dark, with my pains, until the night. My husband couldn't stay, nobody could stay and well ... 60 years ago it was not that normal for the man staying during labor. At two o'clock in the night, the baby was born but it was a painful experience, sharing a midwife with three other women.When my son was born, the nurse cut me wrong or I had a tear, I don't really know. They later swewed me, but they shouted eachother because the needles "didn't sew well".Â
Actually, the needle didn't came out with the thread, that's why later, when I had my second daughter, in a better private hospital, the nurses asked me in horror "oh, lady, what did they do you here?" when they saw the intervention.So, my first labor was not a good experience, they don't give me my son right away. But the second one was nice, in the morning. I had my pains like everyone, but was a joy because I left the delivery room with my baby in my arms. It was totally different.I do not remember if the swelling of the belly lasted very much after giving birth because I was already busy with the upbringing of the baby. With each child I got 5 kilos fatter.Â
When I worked, all the women were on a diet here and there, I never knew what a diet was. Maybe I should have used a belt or a corset, but did not pay attention, there was no time for those things: you had to take care of the baby and you had to do things, buy groceries, washing clothes, washing diapers. There were no disposable diapers so I ... it was 5 in the afternoon and I was washing diapers and clothes. There was no washing machine at the moment, or, at least, I didn't knew itâ.
