Hey all! From now on, I will be blocking anyone who follows me/interacts with my posts if I suspect they're a bot. If you've been on Tumblr for a while you're probably no stranger to bots, but the reason why I'm making a full-on post is because this situation also involves AI image generation.

This post contains more in-depth information (as well as a juicy block list), but if you'd like to hear it from me: Basically, there's a strand of bot accounts going around, stealing from artists/photographers and slapping an AI filter onto their works to make it seem like the AI generated it.

Don't believe me? I did my own look-around of these accounts and noticed that they sometimes include really specific tags on their AI posts, like the kind of tags an artist would leave behind has a comment on their work. I decided to search the tags of 2 posts and found multiple bots stealing from one artist. In both images below, the original artist is the one on the left

If you still don't believe me or want to see more examples, the account @ai-art-thieves has been doing a lot of callouts lately of these kinds of accounts.

We don't utilize content warnings or trigger tags, expect to see all sorts of subject matter discussed on this blog. Tags are mainly used for broad topic categories, such as #shipping problems or #anime fandom.

Hello everyone! Once again, I had a lovely art fight this year, and greatly enjoyed exchanging Art with some of you lovely followers 💖🫶✨

I feel that I have managed to work out most of the bugs in the blogs immediate plot, and I intend to get back to posting asks again as soon as possible! In the meantime, though, I will continue drawing my doodle comics at work as well, some to answer asks I’ve gotten on THIS blog (sorry I’m so slow w those 😭😭) and some just to flesh out comic ideas that are to vivid in my mind not to realize fully

I’ve recently finished filling my previous two Work sketchbooks, so I took the time to transfer a lot of my thumbnails into the new unlined one, (say hello to Wanda, it feels appropriate that Cosmos is dirtier 😂)

Upcoming doodle comics include highlights such as Ved and Dev beefing, babey Iris w his daddy, Time Turner being Perry’s dumbass magic uncle, aaaand of course some teen and fankid-era PerrIris bc they make me sick 💖

Lastly, I think I finally figured out a Devzel dynamic I like, (and I have no idea where else to put this drawing) so in the current ask blog, thier offical relationship status is “horrible mutual pining” because they’re both DUMB and can’t communicate effectively ☠️☠️

despite the scale becoming larger than I intended, though, I’m really proud of everything I’ve made so far, and hope I can continue to improve both in writing and art quality. I can’t say for certain how long I’ll keep it up, but hey, if you told me two years ago I would still be doing this same AU comic today, I probably wouldn’t have believed you 😂

badgering me to update certain fics will not prompt me to fulfil that request. spamming my inbox and bugging me in my replies will not encourage me to comply with your personal wishes.

i am a multi-fandom blog. therefore, i cater to multiple fandoms. but most of all, i write for myself. maybe that sounds selfish, but its true. i don’t write for my followers, and thats the brutal truth. i write because i enjoy it. if other people enjoy my writing, that’s an added bonus. i’m not saying i don’t appreciate the support, because i absolutely do and im eternally grateful to those who like my posts, reblog my posts, and want to see more of my posts. it really does brighten my day to see positive feedback. but i don’t write for the likes, or the reblogs, or the high-demand. i write because i like it. but i’m still not a writer. i am a human being with a life. that means i’m not available all the time. i have family, a home, a pet, and a job. more than one job, actually. i don’t get paid to provide you with the fics that i publish here. all of my work is done in my free time, when i feel like it. and when i’m able.

being pestered to update a fic is when it starts to feel like a chore. i am not an author, i’m just a person with a silly little blog who posts silly little fanfictions sometimes.

i have a lot of ongoing fics that are in progress. unfortunately, i am a busy person with priorities and plans. i have prior-engagements that are more urgent to me than editing that chapter that’s been in my drafts for weeks because my life doesn’t revolve around tumblr.

have i been posting about a fandom that you don’t associate with? does that annoy you? i’m not going to apologise for that. i have my own interests, and this is my corner of the internet where i get to freely express myself without guilt or judgement.

i am working on it. i am trying. i have been writing. all i ask in return is for an ounce of patience and cooperation. harassing me won’t make me work faster, if anything, i’ll lose my motivation even more and that chapter you’re desperate for will take longer to finish.

i’m forever thankful for those who await my updates quietly, and forgive my tardiness. if you just shit yourself reading this, this post probably applies to you.
