"C'mon, Izz! Mrs. Mack said they like to hit up the taqueria on 4th and then come to this pet park. Someone's bound to have seen her!" The younger boy spoke authoritatively before snagging a flyer and reaching up to add the "Lost Dog" flyer onto the thoroughly covered light post. Fortunately, they'd already done their research and knew the sign fit the rules for posting in public.

Their rather large dog spotted Damian and his tail started wagging hard, smacking the boys repeatedly in his enthusiasm to greet a potential new friend. ((Care to play? Missing service dog! from @transplanted-gothamite-oc-rps ))

"Good Goomba! Good boy!" Izz proclaimed cheerfully, remembering from training sessions about the importance of positive reinforcement.

Goomba wagged frantically, his butt wiggling on the pavement as he received.

((^ a 10-month-old English Mastiff, if you need a size/ basic structure estimate. Goomba is an "apricot" one instead of brindle colored like this one. Sort of like the next picture.

"Sorry, this is Goomba. He seems to be purebred according to the DNA test that Ma ran, but we saved him when he was about 2 months old." The brown haired boy explained before holding out the hand not still desperately clutching the (now slack) leash. "I'm Leo, but folks call me Scritch. This is Izz."

The redhead snickered good naturedly, "Technically it's Isaac, but Izz sounds better to me. Isaac was my grandpa."

Goomba let out a quiet whimper, drooling and casting big sad looking eyes at Dames.

"Goomba's a good boy, if you want to pet him," Izz offered while the other boy nodded and went for a flyer.

After all, there was a chance the missing service dog had ended up here, or they wouldn't be posting flyers.

"awwww, nice to meet you too goomba! Whose a good boy!"
