âMeal.â he said like with the rest in a hushed tone, nodding not really a point in changing the words. He was a meal. âOh so you did that once? I canât imagine itâd be a great thing to do unless it was someone you hated.â he said, looking over the shop himself. âHow about reflections, or turning into a bat?â he teased again, smiling covering the other myths she left out. âWell youâre probably gonna tell me fairies exist too, but Iâm sorry to hear that. I canât imagine not being on speaking terms with my brother. Heâs everything to me..â he said, believing her but at the same time it was unbelievable. âIt is, well itâs a country. Not really a great place since we actually allow someone like donald trump to run for president.â he mentioned, but shrugs. âBut itâs home, I do like the states, but europe is nice too, Iâd say so his Japan, Dubai, Egypt very interesting cultures..â he said to her, he traveled a lot since his family enjoyed travelling. âSure letâs walk.â he said beginning to walk with her outside where they can talk. He nodded to her age. âAnd yet you donât look a day past 22.â he commented surprised at when she was born. âI donât know, I feel like I have more important things to worry about then the idea of vampireâs, werewolves. I mean, we watch movies about them all the time, I donât see why someone would be so shocked to why they are real? People believe in a person they cannot see but they canât or be shocked to whatâs in front of them?â he shrugged. âI think youâd be happy that someone doesnât freak out, it was unsettling but overall Iâm guessing you have to feed to live, and if you killed me well, Iâm sure you wouldnât have to worry about me freaking out.â he said to her. âThe question I have for you is, why didnât you just kill me? Or do you want to stay in town, and not gather attention?â he asked, generally curious
She sighed and nodded, âYes, meal. People donât appreciate being called that, was being considerate.â she said as she side glanced at him, âTakes a lot of energy, but itâs effective. They ended up having an identity crisis, and you knowâŠgot carried up in his head. What he getsââ She looked over Dameonâs face and a look of annoyance resting on her own, âYouâre hilarious.â she said arms folded over her chest, âI donât doubt they are real, granted Iâve never come across one, but witches are a thing.â Hannahâs eyes kept glancing at the brawny looking man in the back of the store who had been watching them a little too intensely. âMy brother would rather be doing better things then speak to me, itâs what it is.â her shoulders raised in a shrug, her heritage being laid out on the table, but she was all but surprised that heâd bring the current problem of the US up, âGood intentions, bad execution.â she put it simply, though sheâd seen much worse then Donald Trump.. âEurope is my home, but I donât particularly enjoy visiting. Prefer the states myself.â She led him outside, needing to be away from the man in the store, and she figured a more open place would allow more witnessâ if he was there to do something. She was surprised by his answer, never thinking anyone would be quite as accepting as Dameon was of her, it was almost alarming. âI do need to feed to survive, yes, and I had held off for a few days, I do eat normal food, doesnât help too much, but itâll numb the thirst for a while.â This was probably the weirdest thing sheâd done in a long time, have a generally easy conversation, even though it was mainly about what she was, but she shrugged it off, informing Dameon that she wasnât a television vampire. She turned her head to him, brow raised in interest, âIf I was planning on draining you, I wouldnât care about attention, no one knows me here. I didnât kill you because I had no need toâand plus you seemed interesting.â
