Just finished brewing another new batch, trying a coffee porter of types. Did a decent steep added coffe and a bit of vanilla extract. Once first fermentation is done I will transfer to a secondary and add some toasted oak chips. Very interested to see what happens. Success or failure it's all a learning process.

Started my second batch of newly improved wheat beer. Took what I learned from the first batch and made some changes.. used coriander as a spice mixed with lemon and orange peel as well as 12oz of honey to the end of the wort. Decided to use a light crystal as well as a pale grain for my steep. I will be transferring to a secondary for this batch. More than anything to see for myself what the difference may be.

Here is my first batch of beer completed last week. Overall I'm very satisfied with the result. It's a wheat beer with a sweet start and and bitter ending. Came to about 5.75%alcohol content and took a total of 7 weeks with no transfer to a secondary.
