This day just keeps getting weirder and more awesome. I just raced a wild jackrabbit across the top of Caverly. I know you can barely make it out through the haze, but that's Lake Winni in the distance. (at Caverly Mountain)

Those White Mountains, though. Trees have grown up into the best views, but the riding out here is still insane. (at Devils Den Mountain)

Meet the new Strava QOM (Queen of the Mountain) of the Hunter Field & Pownal Road Field trails! She absolutely *slayed* her first 'proper' mountain bike ride, folks. It was unreal.

This poor thing is still huddling under a couple of fallen branches just off the road. I hope its mother comes back for it soon....hard to tell if it's hurt or not, but it's not budging. Will be checking on it periodically.

How nice of the folks on the dirt road hill behind Bradbury to leave a couch for Bruiser to catch a quick breather on before we enter the belly of the beast....

Bruiser, back in full effect. The silver swingarm will take a little getting used to visually....but the greatly reduced risk of imminent doom is a plus.
