I'm a dirty hipster who doesn't have Spotify, but I have other ways to assemble an "on repeat" playlist!

1) This Silent War - "Setting Sun"

Half of this duo is Garrison Starr, one of the OG folkie-wlw-constantly-touring troubadours active during the late 1990s and early oughties. Melissa Ferrick fans will find plenty to like in this song.

2) David Guetta (feat. Nicki Minaj) - "Light My Body Up"

That chorus tho.

3) East of My Youth - "Mother"

"I just don't wanna think about it anymore" is a real mood. Icelandic pop, like sprites dancing atop a blackened volcanic landscape.

4) Amelia Curran - "Hands on a Grain of Sand"

I'll always be a sucker for a girl with a guitar.

5) KAUF - "Key to Life"

In it for the nocturnal aesthetic.

6) MNEK - "At Night (I Think About You)"

If that chorus doesn't make you want to sing it at the top of your lungs, you might be dead.

7) R I T U A L - "Bottle Tops"

Third group in a row with a stylized-as-capital-letters name. This shuffle seems trapped in a 7-10 years ago timeframe. 😅

The ease at which Kacy Hill moves between vocal registers gives me the chills.
