time to piss off the people who DON’T ship hankcon! i despise convin, that’s just my tea. this pairing is literally the equivalent of people who date a race they hate to play up on the raceplay aspect of it. guess who’s a victim of that, too? yeah. gavin, in canon, hates androids. if you have your own rewritten canon as i do, then fuck it do what you want, but i go off of canon when i say gavin reed left an entirely bitter taste in my mouth with his role in the game. the only thing that’s ever revived my hopes for that man are literally only two people in this fanbase who know who they are! i appreciate the lengths they go to in order to save this man but no matter what, he’s always going to be a racist piece of shit. and the way alot of y’all write him being awful to android characters but still wanna ship him with the same people he treats like shit? no, that’s not how things go. when someone is that awful to you, you don’t ever really forgive them. so say gavin DID, metaphorically, clean up his act. he’s not entitled to romance! or forgiveness, honestly. you can ship gavin with a human, sure, but with that attitude in canon i just ... no. i especially despise convin / gavcon / whatever you nasties wanna call it. he treats con the WORST by far, followed by hank because holy FUCK he probably knows this man has so much fucking going on in his life and he just comes for his throat, i can’t even fucking describe how low that is. it’s just. oh yeah, reed900 is also scummy as shit you fucking loonies. tl ; dr: gavin reed is, arguably, one of the worst people in dbh and i have no sympathy for anyone who writes him as redeemable unless they’ve entirely rewritten dbh, as some brave and talented writers here have done.

alright angel, i’ve got you covered !hankcon is problematic, and here’s why .1) this goes back to my “platonic relationships” post . platonic relationships are good to have - your muse deserves friends above all else, and if anything hankcon deserves to remain FAMILIAL .2) in the game in numerous instances does hank compare connor to his son cole, and it definitely adds to the aspect of hank seeing connor as cole, in a sense: he wants to make sure connor lives so that he can feel like he at least saved SOMEONE in his life from leaving . it’s nice seeing hank soften up no matter what, even if you take the bad connor route . hank’s a dynamic character and like, ship him if you want, just not with connor .3) implying these two are romantic just enforces this silent expectation that familial friendships HAVE to get sexual and romantic over time . i know this personally - i’ve cut bad men out of my life for taking advantage of me . when i come out and say i dont have a good father figure, boys jump on the opportunity to use that to try and fuck me because i’m just some cute girl with daddy issues that needs a man to fuck her right and love her - that’s not what i need . that’s DEFINITELY not what connor needs, and that isn’t what hank is after i would think, judging from his character . hank just wants his son back, and you guys out there who make a hard effort to sexualize what is entirely supposed to be a familial bond are just fucking sick . anyways, there you go nonnie ! i hope this helped you ! <3

yeah, someone had to say it, and if no one else it’s gonna be me . it pissed me off how a character that was on screen for like, maybe 2 minutes MAXIMUM in game suddenly is one of the most popular characters in the fandom ? it’s ridiculous - why can’t you put that much effort, time, creativity, literally ANY of the passion you’ve given to this literal black slate character to the ones the really deserved it ? i have a TON of personal headcanons i have for the poc characters in dbh and yet, if i tried to share them NO ONE would give a shit, and then you have people fucking attacking perfectly fine writers for writing black characters ? because theyre BLACK ? it’s ridiculous . y’all need to fucking rethink your priorities . like, really .

well, you’ve all done it ! you’ve driven off a good person - aggressive as they may have been, they have every right to be furious with you people and they are gone ! i can’t find any trace of them and, frankly, now I’M furious with you all ! you’ve driven off a perfectly valid individual with your toxicity and inability to accept that you are HURTING people and need to CHANGE  i cannot figure out where they are, but fuck you guys - i’m gonna keep doing what i do for their sake because, fuck, they’re GONE and they were my FRIEND and i felt so relieved to have someone who understood my feelings and even if we didn’t entirely see eye to eye on things but i respected them and their feelings, which i think the lot of you really need to learn . from now on i think i’d like to work alongside @problematic-tm​ in order to help better this community until my fallen poc sibling turns up again, but best believe that while i was considering taking a softer approach to how i was doing things, i CERTAINLY change my mind  you don’t deserve my benefit of the doubt anymore . you should all be ashamed for driving off a member of your community who’s opinion MATTERED .

let’s cover a more softhearted topic since y’all think i’m just some heartless bitch . i think we focus way too much on romantic and sexual relationships and its sad, especially as a fandom where we rely soooo much on our fucking friends to enable our bad habits, why not let our muses have the same ? it’s sad to see that our muses depend so much on sexual and romantic gratification in order to feel valid and we should make shit like queerplatonic relations more evident and represented in our community, as well as familial and just platonic relations . anyways, that’s my soft ted talk for today,
