They didn't speak much, working on different sectors in the silence with only idle engine humming letting the other know they are close by.
Optimus's tension never eased not even with the repetitive work of resorting the archives.
Altho his processor never quieted from the questions it housed..
( How am I here? what happened for the archive to be in such upturned state? Why does megatron look so....tired.)
Absorbed in his thoughts eventually he walked right into the bot he tried to avoid
The one that was the only one in the archives exluding him-
-"Megatron! Pardon me, I was lost in my thoughts.."
Finials back in discomfort he went to pick up the pads he had dropped in the action
-"good to see you too, let me help with that"
Megatron dared to say amusingly.
That just added onto orions initial irritation much to his dismay his curiosity was stronger.
Perhaps the stars aligned well, for Meg has beaten him to that first uncomfortable ask.
With the best confidance a warlord could have he asked cautiously,
-"orion, say would you like to retire for the cycle and talk?"
"For old times sake" added quickly to try and dismantle the hesitance in the other bot,
Joyously that seemed to work feeling the shift of the others field open.
Oughh nearing arc 1's end
