It’s not woke, it’s just annoying to anyone else who wants to ship something less common (I saw so many people hating on mo^2 and plutella or most ships with prospero (especially when they all first appeared), so this doesn’t apply to only devilsbride)

Regardless, people can have sexuality or gender headcanons that make this relationship different. Genderbent Montresor or demisexual Annabel for examples

And also shipping doesn’t have to be romantic, it could be a platonic ship or a qpr or you just want to see them cause chaos together. Any kind of relationship qualifies as shipping

Ship and let ship is basic fandom etiquette, if you don’t like a ship scrolling is an option

4- Fandom etiquette is something I've come to accept, doesn't mean people can't be mad at other people for erasing queer rep (especially when the piece of media is focused on queer women)

5- And that's what I do? I ignore ships I don't like. I don't attack the shippers, this post wasn't targeted. I was expressing my frustration at the fact that I can't escape homophobia and heteronormativity even in a fandom that's supposed to be queer friendly.

6- Fun is always welcome. I love rarepairs and crosships. I'm always open to explore new dynamics (romantic or not) but I'll draw the line if it includes something that's actively harming a community ˶ˊᜊˋ˶

Was it casual when Morella compromised her morals just to keep Ada safe?

Was it casual that the moments when Ada seemed most comfortable and natural were with Morella?

Was it casual that Ada ended up with the guy who represents the opposite of Morella?

Was it casual that, even after their fight and Ada's actions, Morella still treats her with such patience, waiting for the moment when they can finally be "friends"?

Was it casual that, regardless of Morella's final words to Ada, Morella herself treats her with the same affection as Lenore, instead of simply doing her job?

Probably so.

Morellada but it's an AU where Morella is secretly crushing on Ada while Ada refuses to let go of Monty even though he is a terrible boyfriend who neither listens to her nor treats her the way she deserves and Morella is there to support every decision she makes because she is too afraid to tell Ada she NEEDS to break up with him and ruin their friendship until one day Ada finally breaks down in tears in front of her so Morella (after comforting her) decides she's pushing her own crush aside to be there whenever she needs her just for it to make her feelings more complicated + Monty refusing to accept breaking up with Ada because "he loves her too much" causing Ada to feel trapped but also refusing to ask for help as she is too scared of the consequences

Don't mind the grammar... It's 4 am and I needed to project my situation somewhere. Having a crush is ruining my life how do y'all do this.
