“Oh. I didn’t pay attention.” he looks around. “It’s cleaner than the boys’, can I stay here?” he then goes to check his bruises again.

"Um, sure. Fine by me." She looks at his bruises as well. "What happened?"

"I hope you don’t expect me to go down there with you."

"Well, I'm definitely not going alone. I don't wanna get killed."

Jo chuckled at all of her inquisitions not out of amusement but out of taking a glance of the normal Dahlia who always worries. It was nice to experience something normal in the middle of crazy events. “She’s tired as hellbut she’s okay now, I hope. Well, it sucks. Not the way I want to celebrate her birthday. And as for me…” She paused a little to put her brave face on and pulled away from their hug. Jo smiled and rubbed her arms. “I’m all better now that I wore something fresh and suits the weather. Are you looking for anything. I’m about to head out to the pharmacy.”

Dahlia pulls away at the same time, nodding. "Her presents at camp. I'll give it to her when we get back" She nods, blinking up at Jo. "No. I just got done wandering around with Kelsey, I think I've got everything I need. What do you need from the pharmacy?"

Bri immediately walks over to her and shrugs. “Just an ex.”

Dahlia places the food on the counter and bends back down to look for more in the cupboards. "Does this ex have a name?"

Electra shrugs. “It was annoying.”

She nods. "For me, too." She looks at the rat. "Do you know whats going on? With the war and all?"

"I did. They’re back. Probably." She pets the rat.

"Thats.... good. I'm happy for you."

The rat squeaks in protest and Electra coos softly to calm it down.

Dahlia pulls her hand back. She keeps silent. "You lost your memories, right?"

"Hear what?"

"I- thought I heard something. Down there." She nods towards a dark hallway.

Electra goes down the hall to check it out and brings back a rat in her hand. She holds it up for Dahlia. “Her?”

She lets out a sigh of relief. "Maybe. Probably." She reaches out to pet the rat's head.

Electra looks around, alert. “What?”

"Down there." She points down a hallway. "I thought I heard something."

Brielle looks at Dahlia, furrowing her eyebrows. “Found what? —Oh, um, just a call from someone I’d rather not talk to right now.”

She holds up her hands. There are a few bags of chips in one and a few candy bars in the other. "Who?"

Sure, the daughter of Ares knew that Dahlia made it safe in the buses and into Port Authority but it didn’t stop her from worrying too much about her. Hugging her tioghtly, Jo felt a wave of relief took over her when she finally saw her in the flesh but the worry for her and pretty much for the ones she loves is still surfacing. “I’m so glad to see you.”

Dahlia nods into her friend's shoulder. She squeezes her, the familiar embrace comforting. She takes a few deeps breaths into Jo's shoulder. "Yeah. Yeah, me too." She says, closing her eyes. "Hows Harley? How was her birthday? How about you? Are you alright?"

He’s in a restroom, he takes off the sweater he’s wearing and checks on the couple of bruises he got on his body. When he hears a couple of footsteps he looks around.

She freezes. "Oh. This is-um, this is the girls restroom."

Brielle’s phone beeps in the middle of looking for some food. She pulls it out and glances down at the new notification, frowning. Pocketing the phone away, Bri continues to look for some food.

Dahlia wanders around in the same store. She wanders behind the counter. "Hey," She calls, "I found some- whats with the frown?"

When Johanna got a chance to be alone as she made her way into an open clothing store, all the fear and anger that was cooped up was demanding for an escape. After grabbing a cute outfit that suited better for the weather, she entered one of the fitting rooms and just started crying. Running through the monster for their lives and the image of her sister being on the brink of death kept flashing in her mind was definitely making it harder for her to keep her sanity in tact. After fifteen minutes, she forced herself to sniff back the tears, wiped away any signs of bawling her eyes and took deep breaths before going out of the stall with her brave face on. Jo frozed when she saw someone inside the store as wel then she went on to casually looked through racks of clothing as if those were picking up her interest. “Uhm…you haven’t been standing here for a while, have you?”

After saying goodbye to Kelsey, Dahlia placed her stuff down with her makeshift bed with her siblings. Then, against her better judgement, she decided to explore on her own. Her own stress levels had significantly lowered since her trip to the busses, but she was still scared. Every once in a while, her hand would tremble without her knowledge or she would jump at the smallest of sounds. She finds another empty store and ooks inside before discovering Jo. She watches her friend for a minute before Jo sees her. She stays silent, quickly walking over and hugging her friend tightly before nodding.
