I also did it because I wanted him to interact with Morel, my favorite daughter /hj and this is for the man reason of āprotag deserves to have someone to be so fucking kind to him itās lowkey concerningā and thatās what morel is giving to him
the only thing that I can currently describe morel with is āsouthern hospitalityā. Protag is being so just tired and agitated, Morel sees this like sopping sad man on a bus bench and asks if heās okay
Protag lowkey just yells at her to leave him alone. Then he like gets a moment of clarity and asks for her help. That he somehow got lost on the way to work and needs help.
Morel doesnāt know where to take him, so they go to the police station. Because where the fuck else can you go. And they like go together, itās weird but sweet not sure how yet.
then they get there, and after morel explains the situation they for some reason take Protag aside for questioning
itās just meant to be simple questions. But the key words are āmeant to beā because the questions are like
āwhatās your nameā
āhow old are youā
āwhere do you workā

the last one is only complicated because Protag DOES know where he works, the whole reason heās here now is because his ass is trying to get to work (friend said that thereās this alluring pull which is why heās trying so hard to go back) But what it is, the company doesnāt fucking exist. William hears about this from Vyncent and gets jealous, because heās hearing that a girl and Vyncent are doing the thing that THE TWO OF THEM do together. thats their thing!!! how dare this girl come in and intrude!! And the reason Iām saying āthis girlā is because William had absolutely no idea that the person Vyncent has been talking about was his sister.
William has been so out of the loop with his sister that he doesnāt even know what college she goes to.
