there’s a lot of similarities between misvil and thrice married to salted fish (isekai with a twist, reincarnation, doctor/patient, etc) but i think my favourite is that when one of the main characters shows an interest in poison and vengeance their ‘morality is a construct’ partner immediately and enthusiastically enables them. get that murder on babe, you earned it <3

actually the greatest moment in misvil is when song qingshi contemplated having gay sex to be a better therapist for yue wuhuan but didnt know who to have sex with(for science) and his buddy who definitely hasnt been pining for him for centuries said he can have sex with him(in the name of science) and song qingshi said no i know how much you love women you dont have to assist me with this science experiment

song qingshi is truly the character ever because he claims that the previous owner of this body was actually quite reasonable and, as one of his examples, describes how he incinerated someone on the spot when they referred to his painkillers as a party drug. he is living in a different genre.
