How far I’ve come

A job I love

Friends who care about me

A new home that is permanently mine

A place where I can grow

Last year I was lost in the darkness

With the light shining all around me

I wish you had waited just a little longer

So much good has happened to me

So much pain is now a relief

It looks like we’re buying a house

I’m going on six months at my job

I think I want to work there forever

The cats are getting vet care

My medication is working

Perhaps you’ll see

You’ll be proud of me

Perhaps you’ll know

People say they’d be mortified if someone in real life found their writing but love it when strangers online read

I think strangers online are nice but I really want to connect with someone about my writing

I wish I could get people in my real life to read it

Or a dedicated online reader but alas the last one I had did not end well :/

I just want to /talk/ about my writing. I wish someone wanted to know scenes I’m planning or discuss possible paths the story can take. I wish people weren’t against spoilers and wanted to engage with the art and help shape it.

I really like when strangers leave me a comment that says they liked it but inside I scream WHAT?? WHAT DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT?? And I cry myself to sleep

I just want someone to see me. My art is me.
