Mean is a deeply personal song for me. It's not one I use to think about other people bullying me. Instead j use it to think about my mental illness, to think of my borderline personality disorder as separate from me and that self critical self hating voice that is cruel and berates me day in day out as just Mean and that some day I'll be stronger and "big enough that {it} can't hit me". My name is Pilar and i'm 21, from Panamá and i've been loving @taylorswift since i was like 12 and her music has helped me through alot. It has been there through my darkest times and has brought me alot of joy... i'm a shake it off stan because it's literally my anthem and my life motto 😂💕 whenever im down i listen to it and SHAKE IT OFF.

I saw tay for the 1st time at reptour miami and it was honestly the best experience ever. I made a few friends thanks to it and thanks to her 💕💕 ALSO we had a moment during dress!!!! And im not quite sure how i made it out alive but jm so thankful and i've been holding on to that memory since!!!
