I don’t fear commitment, I fear wasting my time.

You’ll end up really disappointed if you think people will do for you as you do for them. Not everyone has the same heart as you.

My actual goals are to be so successful & independent that I can spoil myself and my family and do what I love and go where I want whenever.

I think I would say that the universe has a purpose, its not somehow just there by chance … some people, I think, take the view that the universe is just there and it runs along – its a bit like it just sort of computes, and we happen somehow by accident to find ourselves in this thing. But I don’t think that’s a very fruitful or helpful way of looking at the universe, I think that there is something much deeper about it.

Why is it that something as complex as age is measured by something as simple as numbers? How can simple digits determine our maturity? Our readiness? Even our comparability? With a world filled with old souls and innocent minds why are we still bound by the years we have lived and dictated by the date we where born?

She’s the alcohol that keeps him drunk at night but leaves him with a thundering headache and a empty heart in the morning. And even though I try to be the water that sobers him up he just keeps running to the same bottle of vodka every night.

“We’re not meant for each other. We never were.” You mumble under your breath, not even looking me in the eye. You never had the decency to look me in the eye.
