Today, new media is the most widely used type of media across the globe specifically in the field of social media. It continues to help more and more lives for an easier and convenient transportation of news as well as a faster and efficient communication with other people. In this timeline, we will trace the origin of new media and how it has evolved to the kind of media that we use today.

Media has been the source of information through many years. It has been evolving through generation to generation - the hieroglyphics, books and pamphlets, telegraphs, telephone, radio, television, computer and many generation to come -and through that we have easy access to it. Media right now has been a necessity for us people because it always keep an update to us about the things that are happening here in our society. Because of this, we should be responsible enough to use media where in fact there many users that abusing media - using media for bullying someone, making news that are not real. Let us remind ourselves that media is key in making you famous, wherein fact media is the key in updating people all the events that are happening in our society.
