Vivo Beats Google with Android 11 launch

It has been previously observed that the companies don’t usually launch their new devices with an up-to-date OS, OEMs in particular. However, Vivo has gone against the trend this time. Google has made the upgrade process smoother for the firms with the aid of Project Treble. However, most of the companies are still launching new devices with outdated Android versions.

The press release states that the v20 series is expected to come with Android 11 in succession, while the original launch materials for the Vivo 20 series suggest that the V20, V20 SE, and V20 Pro will be running on the recently launched Android 11.

Although it seems as if the Vivo 20 series will originally come with Android 10 with an upgrade to Android 11 in the near time. However, the units launched for reviews are coming with Android 11 pre-installed on them.
