oneiroid hypnagogia love

I write (in a column):

dark, darkness

morbid obsession

secret, mysterious

macabre and enchanting strength and power

enslavement of the flesh

torture, blood, torment, dismemberment, absorption

predation, persecution

I know enough about sciences such as Jungian psychology and mythology, which in theory can reveal this topic.

but I have never been able to write essays, so I doubt my abilities..

THE SHADOW

A clearly defined and distinctly unnatural sensation of icy cold ("the breath of death") flowing around the body (even in 30-degree heat). A clot of mucus accumulating just below the waist (like a sticky, slimy sediment, pulling and constricting). General stiffness, the body is frozen, outlined, and "grasped." Particularly active in hypnagogia, but little involvement in dreams and daytime presence (compared to The Flesh). Visions of gray, green, and blue colors, they play and create patterns and shapes in closed eyes. Visions of black clots and spots. Electrical/mechanical sounds, often echoes of voices or thoughts, logical hallucinations (in hypnagogia). The overall picture isn't as overwhelmingly oppressive (as with The Flesh), which often leads to a feeling of "abandonment" and a distinctly sad mood (one longs for something more relatable). It's not associated with something "faceless," but with a Cyn in its face.
