TL;DR: this post contains links to download the mainline comics in both the original IDW Transformers continuity and the 2019 'IDW2' reboot, as they are currently out of print and it is hard to consistently find complete downloads of them online. You can download individual issues or a full .zip file, from either a MEGA folder or via BitTorrent. Please share if anyone asks about where to get these!
This is an updated masterpost for both of my prior download posts for these comics, as 1) I have updated both folders quite a bit in the past few months to be more complete, and 2) I now have torrent versions if MEGA gives you trouble; I will be seeding these for however long I can, likely at least a few months, possibly indefinitely. (I have tested both and believe that the torrent is probably faster, ftr.)
In short: these are two sets of downloads which contain all the 'mainline' releases for the original and rebooted IDW Transformers comics continuities. I believe after much help from people on here that I have added everything I originally missed or did not correctly upload! I hope! God I hope!!!

For IDW1, some notes:
These are in .cbz/.cbr format. To read .cbz files, you need to download a comic viewer program that works on your device, there's tons. Best way to read comics digitally by far.
The way these are collected reflects the Humble Bundle they did of a collection of the entire continuity ahead of the IDW2 relaunch. What this means is that everything here is presented in its standard collected edition, as digital trade paperbacks, until the very end; when the HB came out, the last couple trades had not yet been released. These comics (e.g. Unicron, the very end of LL) are therefore individual issues.
I have also added in the Last Stand of the Wrecker deluxe edition extras and the Dark Cybertron deluxe edition extras, alongside the extras in the Drift: Spotlight director's cut edition. Because I love you all.
For IDW2:
Unlike IDW1, I do not have the trades for this, only the same individual issues in .cbr you can find in a couple places already. But if it is more convenient for you to download a single thing in one swoop, well. You can!! Saves you the clicking I did, lmao. And it never hurts to keep circulating the tapes, does it.
Over the years getting ahold of these comics has gotten more and more scattershot, and the main remaining direct downloads either don't have easy bulk download options or have them in the 'IDW Collection' format, which is very unhelpful IMO reading order wise, since it mixes the different series together. Most public torrents are now very inactive as well. I'm hoping this will make it a little easier to Just Download Them. I have been asked a few times if it is OK to share my downloads, and the answer is yes (do not be stupid and @ Hasbro or something), share links as much as you want! I have the bandwidth, it's no problem 👍

harder for me to suggest a show when i go through them much more slowly so if youre okay with that caveat then my suggestions are maybe animated or legends of the microns or maybe earthspark. the lore is not going to be the same as g1 (since these are all different runs/universes) but i think these three (from what ive watched) do hit on the same sort of vibes as g1 in terms of balancing out light-hearted writing and darker moments, plus all three have mech-human interactions and relationships.
animated: i've finished the show and i think its mostly solid. there's more in the comics which i haven't read yet. but i can appreciate an Indian protagonist (even if it doesnt really get into the writing of race). my mixed feelings come from the fact that theres some weirdness with the accents (blitzwing has a faux german one, for example) and that theres some of that early 2000s obsession with ninjas with one of the main characters its not a major focus but it personally makes me a little uncomfortable. i enjoy some designs but its not my favorite art style and i dont really like some versions of a few characters but other people really enjoy it so YMMV on that front. this is mostly sort of implied/hinted at (show wise, but supplemental material is more blunt) but similar to tf:one the decepticons are more of a radical political faction group that have gone wrong so that might have appeal.
earthspark: i only watched the first season and i think that season is very solid. ive heard of writing criticisms further down the line but i cant really address that. personally its one of my favorite styles regarding the shows, plus mech-wise theres newer characters which makes it feel fresher. i really like how it values diversity considering theres a major character thats physically disabled, it focuses on a Black-Latine household, and there's a mech that uses they/them pronouns. its not the most deep about it, but i think its the better run on this front from everything ive read/watched. if you like the mech-human interactions then this is the better show for it, but if you prefer something being more mech-centric then this wont be a fit for you.
legends of microns is the original japanese. the english dub is called armada. theres some differences due to translation mishandling and minor rewrites from what ive read online so you can decide for yourself which one you'd prefer. while im only fifteen (15) episodes in, this hits on a lot of g1 feeling for the decepticons including them being an evil type of mech and them being locked in a forever-war. the art style is Very different from usual transformers media, while i find it charming a lot of people dislike it for looking janky. right now its also similar to seasons 1-2 of g1 where violence is sort of downplayed. there's a fansub for the japanese that i'm using which is here (this is a clickable link)
as for what i don't suggest: cyberworld is kind of its own thing that's really removed from the autobot-decepticon struggle because everyone is placed in a virtual world and more humor-focused, so if you like g1/tf:one i dont think it's going to hold much weight since its a very 'what if' type of scenario with insanely fast pacing (episodes are five minutes long). war for cybertron: siege actually has very similar issues that i have with bayverse, just on a smaller scale, because while the art style is like fine, the lighting is so dark and abysmal + the writing is very 'this is dark and gritty (kills off another character)'

CARCASS: One of the things I liked a lot about the Marvel series, it focused a lot on the fact that these characters were, though living, they were actually ROBOTS and there were reasons for their existence and how they came about. This is the ONE part of the Transformers continuity where they don't have (not without a good explanation) "female" Transformers. What are your thoughts on female Transformers and do you think there's room to explore that dichotomy in the Transformers mythology?
BOB: Well, I remember bringing up that question early on with Hasbro, "are any of these female?" And then I think Hasbro's attitude was, 'this is a boy toy. We don't wanna have, you know, girl robots.' So, I said, "OK, just want to clarify that." Then of course, I think it was in 1986 they came out with the movie, and they had the token female character. Don't ask me to explain it. (laughs) I don't understand it. I think what I came up with was Creation Matrix, however that worked out explaining their existence, their 'livingness' was asexual. There was no female, there was no male, there was no need for them having different sexes. So, I just left it at that and what other people have done beyond that, I don't know. I was just… you know, like I said, I early on brought this question up and I was given a certain direction by the Hasbro executives I was dealing with and I went with it. It's their toy, so if that's what they want, that's fine with me. Now, if somebody wants to change their mind and says, 'oh yeah, there should be a whole other bunch of female Transformers,' then again, it's not my toy, they can do that.

Her ability allows her to create and shape metal from her own body. On Cybertron, this made her nothing more than a living tool. She was forced to spend millions of years in mines, producing materials and structures, and supports pillars without rest.
Later, under Ratchet's guidance, she learned to use her ability for medical work, creating surgical tools, repairing injured Cybertronians, and stabilizing damaged frames.
But after losing her home and family in the war, she turned that ability into a weapon. Now, she uses it to reshape her body, craft blades and armor, and adapt herself for combat in seconds. The more turbulent her emotions become, the more distorted and violent her transformations grow.

Super Robot Lifeform Transformers was the Japanese release of the The Transformers (1984) show, consisting of the North American season 1 and 2 episodes. Although "Attack of the Autobots" and "Day of the Machines" were cut initially, they were later dubbed in 1990 and released straight-to-video. Additional clip shows were created as well. The final official count of episodes is 74.
