A little chuckle at seeing D-16's wince at the mention of the Archives, confirming his suspicion that the little two tone miscreant did a lot of things against the wants of his current victor, and Sentinel is waving a servo to pay it no mind. All is forgiven. Not like this miner was the one intruding.

"Do try. But, from what antics I have seen and your reactions, you might be hard pressed to keep him under control. He seems ... Spirited" Well, that is one word for it. But, he's letting the cogless find his center, working out what they wish to say and how not to make a fool of themselves in the process.

The miners on duty have already doubled their quota in mere hours from your performance, the sheer volume of bets both for the usual top ten and you two is more than any other '5000 I can remember, and the sponsors want a miner specific race next year. Even Sentinel seemed to know that he could only do so much to get Orion to listen to him, but in reality Orion was his own mech who tended to get himself into trouble and sometimes, on rare occasions....he'd also drag others into his mess.

Of course that usually happened because the bot was there at the wrong time.

" They do?" Dee questioned, that was surprising he wasn't expecting so many to love them...he thought for sure they'd get boo'd or told to get out of the race but they just....accepted them into the race.

" Ah well....I think I'm ready to record that message." he informed having an idea of what to say and just....hoping that this message would reach Orion.

"Oh. Well, should I give you a warning next time then?" Orion laughs again with a playful nudge to Dee's side. But he sighs, spark aching when he notes thay Dee isn't looking at him. Orion reaches up to gently cup his best friends cheek and turn him towards him.

"Sorry Dee. I didn't mean to surprise you like that. If it makes you uncomfortable, I won't do it again. I'll wait till we are alone. if you prefer that." Even though Dee said he didnt mind public displays of affection, Orion still felt bad if he embarrassed him in front of their friends ans fellow miners.

Dee realized that not looking at Orion probably made him feel like he did something he shouldn't have....primus he was really bad at this....he didn't want Orion to feel like he was doing something wrong.

" Orion....it's fine you didn't do anything wrong." he assured him as he reached up with his servos to take hold of the one's that cupped his cheek " You didn't do anything...I'm just a bit awkward with my emotions but you already know that. I just..." his optics glance back at the others while they spoke with one another before shifting his gaze back towards Orion.

" I rather not share these moments with them. If that makes sense."

Well, in undoing the ribbon, the pressure inside is going to make the body pillow practically explode outward into its usual unfolded shape. Congratulations, have a very confidently sprawled Megatronus staring up at you from the cotton, censored only by that of his staff, which is probably censoring a different kind of staff...

Not this guy.... What did he want to give him now? It was probably something really stupid and pointless.

D-16 stared down at the present in silence before glancing up at Seacrest in silence. He wanted to ask why but he figured he wasn't going to get a very good answer so instead of giving himself a helmache trying to understand what Seacrest could possible want to give a gift to him...he's just going to assume it's something he picked up from the trash to annoy him with.

Only he barely began to undo the ribbon when the gift suddenly opened to reveal the Megatronus Prime body pillow. That was not what he was expecting to see....

" What.....where the frag did you even get something like this?? And why give it to me??"

Rung was sitting with Mourningstar silently reading a book while she rested against him, which he didn't mind...in fact he enjoyed the company so having her there was a plus. At one point he found himself looking down at her, taking notice of how peaceful she looked leaning there against him.

With a smile he leaned in and gave her cheek a kiss while she rested, she must have been very tired and he was glad he could help her rest...even if he wasn't really doing anything.

Twins at the carousel - Sparkeater Perceptor

Going back to my simpatico roots to bring you fresh angst. Lowkey I've always loved the concept/idea of Sparkeater Perceptor, of him retaining his consciousness but he has to constantly fight the instincts of a sparkeater inside him whenever he's with anyone else. And there's always a threat where he loses control and he fears that so much so he avoids anyone if he could.
