- Sexism/Homophobia/Transphobia/“racism” doesn’t really exist there. Like traditional gender roles and what not aren’t a thing. I actually like to think that the men of certain races can get pregnant. Like how a seahorse can change its gender to produce a child. I put racism in quotes because while skin color (not including yk Elphaba) isn’t something people care about, there is still what I can only describe as racism between different sections of Oz and obviously the Animals. Like how Vinkus are often depicted as being less civilized and called “Winkies” (I haven’t read the books tho so if I got that wrong let me know) is an example of this

- Dorothy does not in fact make it home. I know some people have said that maybe the shoes were spelled to grant Nessa’s hearts desire and since Dorothy’s is to go home then they like do that. But I personally just don’t like this headcanon, I think having Dorothy stay would be very interesting

- Fiyerocrow does not leave with Elphaba. He stays back to take care of Dorothy and to make sure things get better. I like to think maybe they have some magical correspondence or something but idk

- Unfortunately Glinda does not solve pseudo racism with a speech. That is far too easy and seemed like just an easy way to wrap up the story. While she did give her lil speech it didn’t really do much aside from directly addressing the issue. Id argue having a human be the one to end Animal racism feels vaguely white saviorey but that’s not my place. So instead Brr (the cowardly lion) actually becomes an Animal advocate who works with Glinda. The change is gradual and not overnight but things do get better. I also think this is a good way to show him overcoming his cowardness

- Tincrow is real although they aren’t like explicitly together. There is no label to it but they def have something going on.

- Boq’s anger does not subside with Elphaba being “dead”. His revenge cannot be fulfilled because he can never truly get back his life. But I think having Dorothy around serves as a good way to keep him grounded. Still he is very protective and will use his axe if he senses any threat to Dorothy

- Toto is a communist

- The Wizard actually really liked Dorothy. Don’t get me wrong he was still more than willing to sacrifice her. But after spending decades in Oz finally having someone from his world there was pretty big. He is a sentimental man and maybe would’ve wanted to bond with her had she both survived and he not gotten caught

- Boq and Fiyero while they do know who the other is don’t really yk talk about it. Their relationship is very delicate in that sense and neither is willing to risk giving it up

- Glinda does not know Fiyero is alive and does not recognize Boq. Which obviously pisses Boq off but not enough to attack her

- Because I don’t have to worry about copyright yes the Ruby red shoes are back. I didn’t like the silver I felt like they blended in too much with Dorothy’s socks and dress

- When gay marriage was legalized some part of Fiddleford’s brain thought of Stanford

- Emma-May looks shockingly like Stanford

- McGucket would often linger around the Mystery Shack either because he would have mental breaks where he thought he still lived there or because he felt it brought him comfort. Although sometimes he’d call it the “murder shack” and avoid it

- The raccoon wife thing was not romantic. Partly because he never viewed his relationship with his wife as romantic. He was just desperate for some connection even if it hurt

- When he talks about the robots he built for reasons that lore wise don’t add up, that’s because he made those robots for different reasons and forgot. But I do think he probably made some kind of robot after his wife left him.

- He was the first socialist and gay president who solved all the worlds problems because everyone felt too bad stressing him out that the world decided to fix itself

- He used to not remember his own name. Simply referring to himself as “Old Man McGucket”. Mainly because that’s what everyone else calls him but also because he erased Ford from his head so many times that it took the FiddleFORD part of his name with it.

- The Society of the Blind Eye was a cult (obviously) but not in a silly way. Like the other members definitely feared Fiddleford and viewed him as their savior. Until he panicked and blasted everyone’s memory of him

- He sees a lot of Tate in Dipper and before he got his memory back would sometimes mix them up

- He is a Disney princess in the sense that all animals love him. He has domesticated raccoons and built an army of them

- Raccoon wife post canon shares a bed with Fidds and Ford and Ford HATES IT
