it was literally the second day of using tumblr and someone already tried to scam me… 😭😭💔

so, for context, I had received a comment under my post of my oc drawn in my sketchbook which was something along the lines of “dm me if your comms are still open!!” To which, I did. I hadn’t thought much of it considering that they weren’t sending me to discuss it through email or anything, which seems to be a common scamming tactic.

I DMed them and I was already really thrown off by the bad English- but I shrugged it off and had just assumed English wasn’t their first language- no biggie.

I was kindly attempting to move the conversation over to vgen, so that I knew I was being commissioned by an actual human being- not some bot, and hopefully not some scammer.

but they kept refusing.

now, they had asked if I was alright with drawing pets and people, which they could’ve seen what services I was offering if they would just get (their ass) onto vgen, which, they still refused to do so.

I only take my commissions on vgen, so I kept thinking to myself “then how are you going to even commission me?!”..

(I sadly hadn’t screenshotted this part, but, trust me bro) shortly after, as I asked them to confirm that they could make a vgen account or make any type of purchase on there, they said “I don’t have a vgen”……. to which I had asked for them to make one, otherwise, I couldn’t accept anything from them.

and they ✨ never replied~ ✨ they deleted their account, their comment, and I no longer see my DMs with them, luckily, I had these screenshots saved. 🗿👍
